Vol Com BFCM Sales campaign with a bang!

The Challenge

Volcom were depending on social channels to deliver ROI over the busy shopping period in November. With immense competition over this period and media at its most expensive, the approach needed to be data driven, tactical and well thought through to reach sales targets.

Our Solution

Lead generation campaigns were used to capture 1st party data of high value audiences, in exchange for early sales offers. These offers were eventually opened to the general public, with the offer increasing over time, peaking on Cyber Monday. Media spend continually scaled, as offers increased. This strategy allowed our strategy to scale significantly in order to reach a broad community of fashion lovers.

The campaigns generated a total value of $250,000 in sales across the Black Friday weekend, which was a 350% increase on the year prior.
